Pope's Grotto Preservation Trust is working to conserve the unique and magical grotto that is the last-remaining element of Alexander Pope's celebrated Villa and gardens at Twickenham. We have been awarded HLF Resilient Heritage for a pilot project being carried out this summer, including funding for a free-lance consultant with expertise in audience development and fundraising to help us prepare a fundraising strategy and audience development plan for a bid to HLF this autumn.
