The Company
Global Legal Group (GLG), an independent legal publishing house based near London Bridge, is looking for a Sub Editor to join our growing team.
As publishers of The International Comparative Legal Guides, The Strategic View series, Global Legal Insights and CDR, we provide corporate counsel and international practitioners with a comprehensive legal analysis of international laws and regulations. Our clients include prestigious law firms from over 140 jurisdictions.
The Role
As Sub Editor, you will be responsible for the production of a number of titles across the portfolio. Your job will involve assisting the production team, coordinating the submission of material, copy-editing chapters and creating page layouts in accordance with our house style, both for print copies and for the web.
The Requirements
A university graduate, preferably with a degree classification of 2:1 or higher.
An impeccable grasp of the English language.
Excellent editing and proofreading abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience of managing a sizeable workload.
Excellent organisational skills.
The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent project management skills.
A working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage.

Price / Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 DOE
