Position: Business Excellence Assessor / Auditor - Building and Construction 
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: Circa £45,000 dependant on experience, plus company car and excellent benefits

About the role: 
Their Assessors cover a variety of specialisms from Aerospace or Medical Devices to Building and Construction so you’ll be part of a diverse team that have a variety of skills and interests. 
Assessment Delivery is the largest part of their UK business, and they’re looking to grow further therefore creating a number of exciting opportunities for you to join their team as a Business Excellence Assessor. 
As they continue to grow, they’re always looking for talented, client-focused people who understand the challenges businesses are facing, to join their 250-strong team of Assessors. 
You’ll visit their Building and Construction Clients on an almost daily basis, travelling to their sites and gaining a real understanding of their organisation. By understanding their business and their challenges you’ll be able to help them improve their performance by assessing their organisation or products against their management systems. 
A passion for excellent customer service is vital and their engagement survey results tell them that 94% of their Assessors (Client Managers) are encouraged to act with the customer in mind. 
Their people will tell you that it’s a rewarding, challenging job and there’s never a dull day - each client is different, so each day and each assessment is different.

About you: 
To be successful in this role you’ll have a passion to improve, taking pride in what you do and having a methodical approach to your work. You’ll have the confidence to communicate with all levels within a business, and discuss how you can help them to improve their organisation. 
They help our clients achieve best practice so that means you’ll need to have the ability to assimilate, articulate and present information at a high level. You’ll be working constantly with clients so excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal communication and written report writing skills are also essential. 
Having the knowledge and experience in your area of expertise is also vital. You’ll have practical experience within building, construction and professional services with a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and management systems. Knowledge and training in ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 is also highly desirable as is a degree level education or equivalent. 
Of course, as our clients are based in a variety of locations the ability to travel extensively is also a must as travel is an essential part of the role which could include overnight stays. 
Their Business Excellence Assessors (Client Managers) are dedicated individuals with 95% feeling motivated to go beyond their formal job responsibilities. It’s a challenging, yet extremely rewarding role. 
You may have experience of the following: Assessor, Auditor, Building, Construction, ISO 9001, Management Systems, Compliance, QA Manager, Continuous Improvement, Quality Assurance, ISO 14001, Business Processes, Construction Manager, Consultant, OHSAS 18001, Process Improvement, Site Manager etc.
