The University of Roehampton is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to work with colleagues in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office to create and implement a multi-channel Internal Communications Plan. The plan is designed to improve the student and the staff experience by better co-ordinating internal communications and building a culture of good communication.
Working with heads of central services, Colleges and other members of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office (Communications), you will work to improve the experience the students have in interacting with the University; to increase awareness among students and staff about services that benefit them; to improve the way in which the University communicates change, for example around the introduction of new systems or processes; to enhance the way in which the University handles communications around unexpected issues and to improve interdepartmental communications. They will also work with colleagues to enhance opportunities for students to provide feedback on their experiences.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the flexibility and organisational skills to create and implement complex communication plans, and will ideally have experience working in a student-facing role.
