An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Piccadilly Prime, a fast-paced, multinational, energetic start-up where there will be ample opportunities for promotion. We have three departments active in trading equipment for offshore industries, financial market and business development. You will join legal division as a legal counsel and there are further opportunities for professional development. 
Our in-house Legal Counsel advises on a wide range of matters affecting Piccadilly Prime, and give expert practical legal support to all levels of the business including executive and senior management and council. They ensure that Piccadilly Prime is regulatory compliant and that it, and its subsidiaries, follow corporate governance best practice both in the UK and internationally.
They are also responsible for reviewing, negotiating and drafting contracts across all areas of the business as well as approving legal wording in business materials and marketing communications.
JOB PURPOSE
The Legal Counsel will assist with the provision of legal advice on commercial and corporate legal issues affecting the Piccadilly Prime group in each of the jurisdictions in which it operates. You need to ensure the company secretary and corporate governance requirements for Piccadilly Prime and its UK subsidiaries and, in conjunction with Piccadilly Prime’s finance department are met.
The Legal Counsel works closely with members of each of the divisions and departments at all levels to assist them with practical commercial legal advice.
Provides high-quality legal advice on a wide range of legal matters affecting Piccadilly Prime.
Assists and works as an active member of project teams.
Assists with compliance and corporate governance.
Assists with the identification of legal risk.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in an extremely interesting organisation, with the opportunity to work alongside each department and learn from them.
Due to the size of the team, you will have great exposure to all business areas and really be able to make the role your own. In this role, you will need to have the ability to handle a pressurised role whilst working with a level of autonomy. Whilst this in an in-house role, this certainly isn't an 'easy option' and we need someone who is extremely proactive, pragmatic and dynamic.
