Volvo V50 T5 R Design – Rare Manual Version, 2.5 Litre Turbo

After many indecisive months, I've decided to advertise my T5. This reluctant sale is due to requiring a larger car, which I have now purchased.

Owned by a Volvo enthusiast, this T5 has been well cared for. The overall vehicle is in great condition for its age.
I don’t believe there are many R Design manual T5’s left in the UK; most you will find have an automatic gear box.

The vehicle has full dealership and garage service history up until my ownership. I then have taken to maintaining the service intervals myself. Engine performs very well, and sounds healthy. Used as a daily and long distance commuter the turbo is also healthy and holds boost and vacuum as it should. Only higher octane fuel has been used during my ownership. Clutch, gearbox and steering are in great condition and will not require replacement anytime soon. No cracked liner issues. This car has been well cared for.

A common wear and tear fault on these is the wishbone. This was recently replaced with full polly bushed parts, and will last longer than the standard rubber.

Bad bits:

· Intermittent fault code with the MAF, as I use the car on a daily basis it’s not a concern for me, but I believe it could be the K&N air intake. The result is it goes into limp mode on average 3 or 4 times a year. Once the car has been turned off and on the fault disappears. Long term I suggest replacing the MAF and remapping the car, or installing the original air box (original air box will be included in the sale)
