Our 2001 Citroen xsara Picasso for sale. 1.6 litre petrol engine. 100996 miles. We originally bought the car in 2012 for my wife to use whilst on maternity leave with our first child....5 years and another child later it's time to finally sell up. It has served us well over the last 5 years coping brilliantly with the school and nursery runs, shopping runs, ferrying the non-driving grandparents about etc. Only selling due to needing a car with a bit of space capable of towing our new caravan.
The exterior of the car is a bit shabby close up, with scratches, scrapes, and the odd dent, missing fuel filler flap (but with a lockable cap) and a taped on wing mirror (which still works via the electric mirror adjuster). Interior is what you would expect of a car of this age with wear on the drivers seat, worn steering wheel, marks here and there etc. It isn't going to win any beauty competitions. 1 remote locking key and some service history/receipts.
Good bits! The car is Mot'd until 14th June 2018. Within the last few months it's had a new exhaust, new rear tyres (front ones also have loads of tread left on them!), new radiator and fan. It has 3 full sized seats in the rear which can easily accommodate 3 child seats, or 2 child seats and an adult.
As mentioned it isn't going to win any competitions on its looks, and it isn't going to beat the neighbours' Porsche at the traffic lights, but its practical and it should serve you well if you're looking for a little runaround like we were when we first bought her.
