For reluctant sale is my beloved BMW 320Cd M Sport.
My only reason for selling this car is I now have a baby and unfortunately cannot manage very well with the car seat and pram and having a coupe car, so I have had to buy myself a 5 door hatchback.
I have owned the car for over 3 years, in which time I have had a lot of maintenance work done to the car including:
New offside rear wheel bearing in March 2017
New front to rear metal brake pipes and brake fluid change March 2017
New top quality LUK clutch and dual mass flywheel 2016 at approx 170k miles
New offside handbrake cable and shoe adjustment
Replacement front suspension damper struts, both sides
The car is a 2004 facelift model so had the revised 6 speed manual gearbox
Superb 2.0 turbo diesel engine (These are bombproof, powerful and return excellent fuel economy)
180,000 miles with full service history from reputable BMW & Mini specialists
12 months MOT with no advisories
Two keys, both with remote central locking.
Full matching set (£500+) of Uni-Royal Rain Sport tyres, all with very good level of tread (6mm+). Full wheel alignment carried out when fitted.
Digital climate control and air conditioning which works fantastic and is ice cold.
Full BMW toolkit
BMW Business stereo/CD player with 6 CD auto changer.
Genuine (NOT replica) BMW MV2 18 inch M Sport alloy wheels – ideally, these do need refurbishing; this was going to be the next job on my list to do before I fell pregnant! However, even in this condition I have seen the same alloys selling on eBay for between £80-200 per alloy.
The DSC warning light is on on the vehicle dashboard. I have been advised that this is caused by a wheel speed sensor which costs approximately £30 for the part; however I have not had time to look into this with needing to get a new car etc.
The car is in very good condition for its age; with a couple of age related marks including a minor scuff on the rear bumper which can be seen on the photographs, and the odd blemishes on the front bumper.
Interior is in very good condition, the leather is starting to wear on the drivers bolster although there are absolutely no rips/tears/cigarette burns etc. Vehicle has never been smoked in. The leather on the gear knob is starting to peel away, but these are cheap and easy to replace. Other than that, all the interior/door cards/carpets/leather steering wheel etc is pristine. Car has the rare carbon cube dash inserts.
The car starts, runs and drives like an absolute dream; it is a genuine joy to drive. It is fast, responsive, and grips the road really well. The car is also very fuel efficient, especially on long journeys or up and down the motorway where the car averages approx 45mpg. On average, a full tank of diesel costs me £60 and generally gets me over 400 miles of short journeys, 600 miles + on long journeys.
Car is HPI clear and inspections welcome.
