We have a permanent full-time vacancy for a Tanker Driver at our Newport Site. In return, we offer a competitive salary, premium payments for weekends, 33 days holiday pro rata, death in service benefit.

We are one of the largest LPG suppliers in the UK and has over 30 years' experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.

The Tanker Driver will be responsible for delivering Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Tanker to domestic and commercial customers in and around the South Wales & South East Of England. The role will include weekend working as part of a rostered shift pattern.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures

* Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained

* Meet driver performance standards

* Loading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures

* Metered deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures

The successful Tanker Driver will:

* Hold a cat C (HGV Class 2) licence

* Possess an ADR in Tanks with minimum class 2 gasses

* Driver qualification card (DCPC)

* Be committed to provide excellent customer service

* Be reliable, flexible and hard working

* Be honest and trustworthy

The hours of work are 45 per week.
