We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, motivated and experienced trainer to join our team at our luxury retirement village in Northampton. The trainer will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering training to our staff using a range of methods to motivate and meet the needs of different learning styles. The trainer will also organize and deliver all mandatory and legislative training, including: moving and handling, SOVA, fire safety, customer services, infection control and others as appropriate, ensuring it meets the needs of the Care Certificate Framework.

Who we're looking for

* You will ideally need a PTLLS qualification or equivalent, although relevant industry experience will be considered for the right candidate

* You'll support staff to access training delivered outside of the village and plan the mandatory annual training for all staff

* You'll ensure staff are inducted using the Richmond standards and Skills for Care standards

* You'll monitor and identify training needs from staff appraisals and development plans, and monitor the effectiveness of training through feedback from learners.
