We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established company that supply a huge range of promotional products to companies. On a Full Time Permanent basis this could be the right move for you!

This position will be varied and demanding and requires a good deal of responsibility. The job holder must have management experience, be well organised, confident and have some industry related background. Management experience in a small to medium company will be an asset.

A Senior and key role within managing the production and distribution of orders from franchisees. The job holder will be part of the company's Management Team responsible for the overall running of the company.

The successful Production / Distribution Manager's key duties:

Job duties will include:

* Receiving production orders from various departments

* Organising the production & distribution of all orders

* Managing a team of production staff

* Placing orders with suppliers as required

* Maintaining job records

* Maintaining production equipment as required

* Recruiting production staff as required

* Packaging and post

* Updating records and spreadsheets

* Preparing management information

* Attending Management meetings

The suitable Production / Distribution Manager should have the following:

This is a wide ranging position with overall responsibility for all production output, quality & production service levels and will require a broad base of skills, including:

* Manufacturing knowledge, specifically engraving and digital print

* People management skills

* Proven leadership ability

* Good communication skills with other departments and direct with clients

* IT knowledge, specifically CorelDraw and database management

* An aptitude for graphic design

* Administrative skills

* Strong sense of organisation and time management

* Ability to work under time pressure

* Commercial awareness

Location: Hinckley

Starting Salary: (GBP)24,000 pa

Hours: 8am - 4pm. Monday-Friday. Degree of flexibility required.

Holidays: 28 days (including statutory holidays)
