Our purpose built luxury retirement village in Bedworth are now seeking to appoint 2 x Commis Chefs (40 and 32 hours per week) to join our professional hospitality team.

Our Retirement Village is a state-of-the-art village surrounded by stunning scenery provides all the benefits of a socially active community. Our accommodation ranges from luxury village apartments to our on-site care home providing the very best 24-hour nursing care.

For nearly 20 years we have been at the forefront of luxury retirement living. Having won numerous awards for architecture, landscaping and care, we are now seen as the benchmark for retirement villages in the UK. A totally fresh concept in retirement living, our socially active communities are for people who want to get the most from later life.

The successful Commis Chef will have an understanding of nutrition and a passion to provide a fine dining experience for all residents and visitors to the Village.

They will be flexible and creative in their approach to the post, prepared to take overtime where needed working as part of a dedicated team.

Experience of catering for the older person in a care setting preferred along with restaurant experience, but not essential.

Knowledge of the nutritional requirements for the elderly would be an advantage.

An NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent certificate in Catering and Food and Hygiene qualification is preferred.

Good all round catering experience needed although some on the job training will be provided.

An eagerness to learn further to provide high quality meals and service.
