La Coquille has a supermarket, shops, bank and a train station. St Yrieix La Perche is a larger town with supermarkets, shops, banks etc, train station, cinema, theatre & modern hospital with A&E facilities.

A train can be taken from St Yrieix or La Coquille to Limoges, and then on to Paris, Bordeaux or La Rochelle, for example, & Limoges airport is approx 55km by road, with its budget airline links.
