Principal Tasks:
* The co-ordination, preparation and management of formal bid documentation, from EOI to ITT submission
* Working with the management and business development teams to identify viable bidding opportunities
* Provide administrative and co-ordination support to the Tender Team across all functions
* Managing multiple concurrent complex bids and tenders
* To manage and continuously update the Tender Library to ensure that 'standard' bid materials, policy documents and procedures are current
* Liaising with all departments to finalise bid contributions
* Assisting in interdepartmental contract implementation
* Monitor existing contracts; identifying expiries, maintaining price lists and relaying information to relevant business streams.
Skills and Experience:
* Has 2+ years' experience of direct bid writing or bid administration
* Experienced in producing high quality written sales/tender documentation
* Have the ability to work to tight deadlines, responding to urgent needs with composure and efficiency
* Experience of using tender portals
* Have advanced experience of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Is both motivated and enthusiastic, with professional appearance and manner
* Is self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload
* Is ambitious to progress within the organisation by producing high quality and results focused work
* Experience working with, and/or supplying services to Local Authorities is desirable
