Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Electrician on behalf of our clients.
The purpose of the Electrician role is to organise and undertake repairs and testing specific to your trade. In addition, you will carry out maintenance works in accordance with company policy.
This role would suit ex-military personnel however, candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* To investigate, inspects and undertake repairs / maintenance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Maintain adequate levels of stock, re-ordering when required, ensuring you have the necessary supplies to complete the work.
* To ensure that, where possible, all works are completed with the timescales set.
* Complete all paperwork on completion of works.
* Report any known defects of faults when on site.
* Provide positive assistance with the preparation of quotations, estimates and the preparations of claims for payment.
* To be available for emergency standby duties, out of normal working hours.
* Attend team briefings.
* To attend training courses and provide positive assistance in training members of your team.

Skills and Qualifications:
* City and Guilds 2382-15 - 17th Edition of Wiring Regulations.
* City and Guilds 2394 Level 3 award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations id desirable.
* City and Guilds 2395 Level 3 award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
* City and Guilds 2377 In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT Testing) is desirable.
