This school, based near Bradley Stoke and Stoke Gifford, want a Teaching Assistant to help support two year 2 Classes. This role will include leading interventions in Maths and English and assisting the teacher in class. It is important that you have a good grasp of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and can use your initiative working independently and also within a team. The staff at the school work closely together and it is important that the Teaching Assistant can work within the Year group team. You will be working from plans and need to be able to teach a small group to achieve a set target.

This post is to start the second week after half term (week beginning 6th October) and, due to covering an unforeseen absence, could be longer.

To be a successful candidate you will need to;
- Have Level 2, Level 3 qualification or experience of assisting in an educational setting
-Have knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum
- be able to work within a team and independently

Price / Salary: £12000 - £16000/annum
