The Role

In the RM Managed Services team we want to be the ICT support partner for our schools and colleges, not just a supplier. We want to get to know them, their staff and students. Schools and colleges just want ICT to work, for staff and pupils to be confident that they can easily log on and have swift, safe and reliable access to their files and engaging media rich resources, both inside and out of school. Key Responsibilites

Working within RM's Managed Services team at the College of West Anglia, the Customer Support role is vital to the success of our Managed Service business. In this role you will be predominantly based at the CWA Kings Lynn site, but will be occasionally required to travel to attend team meetings and provide additional support at other local sites. The role is focussed on providing excellent customer service to staff at CWA by logging their calls and resolving some queries using documented processes available to you. Other calls you will progress to engineers based on site or our remote engineers. In additional to your service desk work, you will provide advice to our customers to ensure that they feel confident and comfortable using the IT resources available. You will have support from other engineers to do this, but you will be key in identifying trends in customer enquiries and problems to allow the advice to be best targeted. This is a varied role in a friendly environment with a great team around you. It requires the building of strong relationships with College staff. If you are an experienced customer service professional with great communication skills and a commitment to customer service, this is the role for you.

Skills & Experience

* Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service * Team player with strong inter-personal skills. * Computer literate - user knowledge of Microsoft® Excel®, Outlook® and Word®. * Organised and self-motivated. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience of working in a customer service & administration environment
