GREYWOOD are recruiting for a highly successful industry leader for one of their main UK regional offices for a Senior C# Software Engineer to join their expanding Software Engineering department. You will be instrumental in the continued growth and success of this integral office and someone willing & able to participate in decision making and strategy planning, with the support of the leadership team in Bristol.

You will be:

* An experienced developer with demonstrable experience in C# and asp.net which will allow you to hit the ground running
* Keen to work as part of a strong and passionate team to deliver key projects
* Responsible for maintaining and improving our existing code base
* Taking ownership of work streams, mentoring junior programmers, and helping to drive the quality of work produced by the department
* Engineering elegant solutions to allow us to process large amount of data on tight timescales

You will have:

* Significant C# development skills (or similar easily transferable language e.g. Java or C++)
* Significant experience working with databases
* Ability to translate business needs into smart software solutions
* History of supporting and mentoring more junior team members
* A passion for quality
* AWS
* Functional programming

Any previous experience in a consultancy and/or involvement in open source projects would be looked upon favourably
