A fantastic opportunity had arisen for an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our client on a permanent basis. A specialist within the Timber market they are looking for an ambitious individual that after training will progress into the role of Branch Manager.
Working within a busy trade environment you will have the ability to manage the day to day operations and effectively meet the needs of you r clients which include National House Builders, Construction Companies and Joinery and Fencing Contractors.
Duties include:
* Assisting with the day to day operations of stock levels at the branch
* Supporting the Directors in running the branch
* Building and maintaining positive customer relationships in order to increase sales
Skills and Attributes
* Knowledge of timber products is essential as well as working in a trade counter environment
* IT literate
* Enjoy working as part of a small team in a busy trade environment
* Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
* Customer focused with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Commercial awareness, self-motivated, organised and good timekeeping
* Positive Can do attitude
