Manpower is recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join our client, a specialist manufacturing company based within the Leeds area.

Reporting into the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of products, including:

-Fitting Pumps
-Gearboxes
-Motors
-Conveyors
-Various Pipe Work

Other responsibilities will include light fabrication work, pipe fitting and testing of company products. Standard working hours are

Ideally you will have a foundation degree within Mechanical Engineering (such as an NVQ, ONC or HNC) as well as previous fitting, assembly and welding experience. You will be competent in reading engineering drawings. Due to the company being extremely busy, high amounts of overtime will be available to those wishing to develop more quickly and boost earning potential.

Once trained, the company does offer the opportunity to work overseas, therefore if you would like to travel the world whilst learning new skills, this could be the job for you!
