We are currently recruiting for an IT Account Manager to work for a well established and growing IT company based in North Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a an experienced business development and sales professional with experience working for an IT reseller to work in a dynamic and fast-paced role where you will be responsible for identifying opportunities with new customers to sell Oracle software, and associated services. The majority of the business that you generate will be via new business so you will be confident to make outbound sales calls and qualify opportunities.

Your duties will include:

* The first 3 months will involve training on the product, the marketplace and new business development, building a sustainable pipeline for continued success

* Responsible for targeting known Oracle software users, who are not yet customers, to identify opportunities to sell the products

*Responsible for the complete lifecycle of the sale - profiling, qualification, pitching, proposing, nurturing, negotiating and closing

* Responsible for on-going account management of your customers

* Achieve quarter on quarter sales targets and continue to grow business.

To be considered for this role you will be a credible sales person with experience working for an IT reseller and also possess the following skills and experience:

* A minimum of 12 months B2B sales experience within the IT industry

* Experience working for an IT reseller

* Proven success and ability to exceed targets

* Strong sales acumen

* Decisive, focused and resilient

* Proactive pipeline stage management
