Sewell Wallis are recruiting a Director of Care for a well loved charity based in Sheffield.
The role will be pivotal for the future development of the organisation and the role will form part of the Senior Management team and drive the strategic aim of the organisation.

As Director of Care you will provide strategic clinical leadership to the whole care team whilst working collaboratively with the Chief Executive to develop the organisation as a whole.
You will be accountable for the operational management of the care services as well as ensuring that all regulatory, legal and professional requirements are met.

You will need to develop external partnerships across the country and continually be looking to promote the organisation as a centre of excellence, you will lead the strategic development of the care service and engage in, lead, research and development, building the evidence base.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:-

* Providing transformational leadership, vision and strategic direction to clinical services.
* Working closely with Chief Executive, Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees to achieve the overarching strategic aims detailed in the 5 year plan.
* Ensuring the views of all users, and potential users inform the development of the service.
* Making sure that any developments in service are substantiated by robust research.
* Setting clinical standards and ensuring these are maintained consistently.
* Providing strong governance to the organisation.
* Be the Registered Manager and ensure that the services delivered meet the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.

To be successful you will need to be a qualified clinician or be able to evidence your suitability for the role.
This is a position that will involve engagement throughout the organisation including fund raising and liaising internally and externally with stakeholders.
