Job Title: Group Accountant

Cooper Lomaz are seeking a Group Accountant to join one of Norwich's most recognised international businesses who define the subsea services sector.

This is a fantastic position for an Accountant that is looking to work with an International business and support with key business decisions.

PURPOSE
To support timely, accurate and reliable management information for the Group.
To deliver accounting and reporting for centrally managed holding and financing companies.
Analyse reporting submissions from groups companies.
Support the Associate Director, Tax and Legal with the UK corporation tax reporting and statutory requirements for the Company Group.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of all aspects of accounting and month-end close, to strict deadlines, for stand-alone business.
Familiar with key aspects of complex international multi-currency consolidations.
Ability to manage and manipulate large and complex volumes of data from multiple sources whilst maintaining absolute clarity and integrity of outputs.
Strong Excel skills and hands on experience of ERP and financial reporting software (Navision and IBM Cognos are group standards).
Attention to detail yet able to step back and see the bigger picture.
Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising and delegating tasks as appropriate with a complex, conflicting and often time-pressured work load.Some experience of UK corporation tax and VAT compliance preferable

The successful candidate will ideally be a finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with prior experience working in similar roles. They candidate also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and influence across a culturally diverse de-centralised international business.

The role will involve some travel in the UK and internationally.
