Our client is a growing property business who seeks an experience Business Development Manager across the North West region.
The ideal candidate will be based aroun the Manchester Area and will be able to commute to my client's Regional Office near Liverpool, when not on appointments.
The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by canvasing through cold calling, advertising ,networking or through other means of generating interest from potential clients to increase the number of units being managed by the Company. You will be expected to plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential property managers and building owners to do business with the company.
You will also be expected to market, promote and sell new products and services that may be launched by our client and any of its subsidiary companies and affiliates whilst exploring new markets such as residential home owners ,property developers, insolvency firms and Government departments that may be vacating properties like the Police for example.
Key responsibilities include:
* Generate own leads and appointments that can be converted into real business opportunities.
* Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business through making cold calls.
* Cold call as appropriate within your geographic area and beyond to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your professional network.
* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
* Research and build relationships with new clients with property portfolios.
* Set up meetings between client decision makers and companys practice leaders/Principals.
* Work with other teams within the business to develop proposals that speaks to the clients specific needs and concerns.
* Participate in pricing for new units and buildings.
In addition to winning new business, you will also be required to managing existing accounts and achieve/exceed company KPIs & targets.
Whilst experience of the "Property Sector" is not essential as fll traing will be given, an understanding or interest would be advantageous.
A full UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement for this position
