Person Specification
To be considered you will need to be a dedicated and directed History NQT who has a track record of 'Good' or better teacher and has the drive to inspire both pupils and colleagues. You will have the ability to ably work on your own and in a team and display your passion for teaching through total dedication to your pupils. You must have the skills to ensure high levels of communication are upheld whether it be with students or teachers. You will have a good understanding of the new curriculum and an upbeat disposition that allows for fun teaching.

About the Role
At this well-facilitated school, as a History NQT you will be teaching within the school's friendly Humanities Department and you will be part of a department dedicated to inclusive practice. Your duties will include given a wide range of useful resources including audio sensory rooms and joining a department with a fantastic amount of resources . This History NQT position involves teaching under a successful HoD. As a History NQT you will be working with the support of a 'Outstanding' teacher who understands how difficult starting in a new school can be. Your responsibilities will include seizing the opportunity to begin learning new teaching methods through a series of extensive training and CPD programmes. You will have the responsibility of joining one of the most popular, hard working and social departments of the school. In this post you will be teaching classes up to KS4, including GCSE, with the expectation that all pupils are well prepared and confident for their exams. In general, you will be using the advice of the successful Head of Department to quickly settle into the school and begin helping your class as quickly as possible.
