Automation Engineer (On-Site)

A leading automation specialist, is looking to recruit an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team.

You will be based on site at one of the company's key customers, where no 2 days will be the same in a challenging environment and one which will allow you to develop further.

The Successful Candidate:

* Experienced in a similar role within a Manufacturing OR Automation environment
* Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) e.g. Siemens OR Allen Bradley
* Hands-on experience with Robotics e.g. (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA)
* Basic Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting
* Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
* Valid Full UK Driving License

Responsibilities Overview:

* Optimize systems by implementing configuration changes and back-end prepared corrections on-site

* Carry out the systems periodic maintenance tasks during maintenance breaks

* Support the customer Automation system to secure production

* Maintaining up-to-date task list for all ongoing service tasks

* Fault finding & problem solving on-site

* Act as contact person towards other resources which might be needed to fulfil up time targets
