Randstad Education is actively looking for experienced/and/or qualified Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join their team for immediate work across South East London.

These immediate roles can be based in one of a number of schools and can be part time or full time, temporary with the opportunity of long term and potentially permanent offerings for successful candidates. Our Teaching Assistants support a variety of needs (SEBD/EBD/AUTISM/ADHD/Dyslexia/Challenging Behaviour) in a Primary school setting. The work offered could be on a 1:1 or small group basis depending on the school and level of students.

Working on an immediate temporary basis gives you the freedom to not only chose your work each week, but it also gives you the opportunity to work at a number of schools building on your experience & knowledge quickly, creating potential long term and permanent openings along the way.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience supporting pupils with special needs
- Have a minimum of 3 months experience working in a classroom setting
- Be flexible & adaptable
- Have experience with Makaton / PECs / Team Teach (desirable)
- Be calm & positive with a supportive approach
