My client is looking to recruit an experienced Production/Export Administrator (food industry) for their site near Solihull. This is a new role so experience in a similar position is a must. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 hours).
Job purpose
Support the Production Manager by completing and managing the process of product registration, accreditations and some export related documentation.
Assist with and manage product compliance, packaging and product listings
Support the Production and Sales teams in all areas of the business where required, learning and developing knowledge through participation
Duties and responsibilities
* Manage the process of product registration for new territories by liaising with customers in these territories. From initial identification of requirements through completion of documentation, monitoring and reporting on progress, highlighting and resolving issues. Maintain current certifications and regulatory documents on the ERP system to support export orders
* Maintain a user-friendly record of progress. Creating accessible historical records, cross fertilisation of common requirements between territories, managing expiry dates on accreditations and registrations, planned renewals of these where required
* Support the Production Manager with product and packaging compliance. Liaise with external bodies in relation to regulations, laws and standards to ensure all Grenade products rigidly meet all requirements
* Managing the Informed Sports database and maintaining product certification. Ensure no certification expires and all certificates are available on the ERP system
* Support the Production Manager, team and business in any initiatives and activities where needed
* Apply relevant due diligence processes to existing suppliers measuring continuity and consistency of standards
Qualifications, skills & attributes
The role is very focused on completing official documents and monitoring the flow and progress of these forms.
Qualifications include:
* Must have experience of working within a food production environment
* Must have experience for export documentation
* Very good advanced English and Maths
* Very competent with Microsoft Word & Excel, Adobe PDF files
* Able to put together and present professional documents and statistics
* Extremely well organised, able to store and retrieve data and documents effectively
* Young vibrant rapidly growing company so ability to fit and mix is essential
* Demonstrate a good level of common sense and able to get up and go after initial induction
* Able to quickly develop knowledge of products and industry
* Must live within 20 miles of the site
* Excellent attention to detail
* Eye for detail
* Good team player
