Pricing Manager

Boston Hale have been engaged to assist a top 10 Global Law Firm in their search for a Pricing Manager.

Crux of the role:

Assisting all stakeholders by providing innovative fee arrangements and value-added services directed at maintaining and encouraging profitability and efficiency

Responsibilities:

* Lead internal presentations to key stakeholders and external presentations directly to clients
* Assist Finance and Legal Project Management teams in highlighting and proposing remedies for issues affecting the existing pricing arrangements
* Educate lawyers on effective pricing strategy and negotiation
* Produce summaries of the different types of fee arrangements implemented by the firm
* Lead the development and implementation of procedures that aid the efforts of global stakeholders in pricing projects
* Develop and review reports pertaining to pricing
* Stay informed of present AFA trends within the market

Required Skills:

* Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Accountant with extensive PQE
* Proven Pricing experience within Professional or Financial Services, ideally Legal Pricing
* Technical proficiency in data analytics
* Gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and interact with clients
* Strong knowledge of databases and reporting best practices

The successful candidate will be technically sound and will also be able to highlight an ability to interact with and inform the decisions of senior stakeholders. The ability to see things from a "lawyers' point of view" is hugely important for this role
