Are you an experienced Joiner and want to progress?

We are actively seeking a highly ambitious joiner who can help contribute to my client's successful team.

My client is a FTSE 250 business providing facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They have revenues in excess of £1.8bn and a reputation for being the best in their business.

An exciting opportunity has arisen working for my client; they are looking for Joiners in the Dundee and Perth region. You will be responsible for all maintenance and reactive work. You will need to undertake general joinery, carpentry, occasional handyman, fabric and semi-skilled duties.

Job Responsibilities

* Reactive attendance to breakdowns and minor fabric repairs.
* Communication & liaison with suppliers & specialist contractors for parts & repair requirements, in association with Fabric tasks.
* Maintenance / repair to joinery
* Maintenance / minor repair to building fabric
* Ad hoc painting / touching up to properties
* Minor mechanical / electrical repairs
* Minor repairs / changing out carpet tiles / flooring damage as appropriate- Repairs and modification to door locks and door jam repair, hanging doors, adjusting and installing door closers.
* Repairs and maintenance to ceiling tiles, and any general repair to the facility that is required to maintain the standard of the building.
* Maintenance of Water Systems
* Minor decorating tasks

Person Specification

* Timer served approved Joiner
* General handyman skills - painting, fixing a leak
* Basic electrical experience/awareness
* Previous Maintenance environment experience
* IT literate
* Full driving license
* Experience working within a Commercial environment
