Sphere Solutions are working with a main contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor for their Plymouth head office, who has a good experience of working within contracting or civil engineering. You will join a long established commercial team working on a range of schemes, you could be involved in projects up to £4m. Whilst taking commercial responsibility for a number of sites at any one time, you will be involved in the projects from inception, pricing through to completion, taking complete ownership.

Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
Assisting with tenders and estimating, through to valuations and variations
Financial forecasting and final accounts
You will join an experienced commercial team and take responsibility for a key number of clients and sites

Good civils or construction /contracting experience is essential, they have both a civils and retail / fit out team. You will be office based and travel to site a few times a month, sites could be nation wide as clients are all over the UK.
