Warehouse / Fork Lift Operative

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse / Fork Lift Operative to join one of the region's leading manufacturers. Reporting directly to the Dispatch Manager, this role offers a great deal of autonomy and the opportunity for career progression.

Starting salary of £17,459 per annum rising to £20,688 per annum after training

WORKING HOURS:

08.30 to 17.30 Monday to Thursday and 08.30 to 16.30 Friday whilst training
Rotating 06.00 to 14.30 / 10.00 to 18.30 Monday to Friday after training

KEY DUTIES:

Safe operation of Fork Lift Trucks and other material handling equipment
General warehousing / out away duties as required
Adherence to internal stock and control procedures and maintaining stock levels to agreed criteria
Enable efficient flow of stock at all times
Assist colleagues with goods in, despatch and stores duties

THE CANDIDATE

Previous warehousing experience in a similar role
Current Counter Balance FLT certificate / license
Willing to undertake additional Combi Lift FLT training
Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers and suppliers
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
