Our client, a well-established Serviced Apartments provider, is looking for a Reservations Manager to join their team in London, UK.
The Reservations Manager will be responsible for managing the reservations team, overseeing all daily reservation activities along with managing group stays, online channels, revenue management and lease management contracts.
Key Responsibilities;
To oversee the reservations department, ensuring that monthly sales targets are delivered at all times:
Drive and manage reservations team performance, setting up and refining departmental procedures and be proactive towards achieving the best out of the team.
Acting as the escalation point for all issues raised within the Reservations Department.
Provide management cover and support for the reservation in the absence of Head of Revenue.
To upload and manage daily inventory to ensure maximum occupancy levels are achieved.
Analyse past and present trends and agree on action for future strategies
Proactively reviewing & implementing accommodation room rate and volume controls on a weekly and monthly basis and oversee the daily inventory control
Monitor competitor pricing and products, understand local market and demand generators
Liaise with Head of Sales regarding short, mid and long term rate strategies
The ideal candidate will;
Keep up to date on industry news Business Travel and serviced apartment industries
Participate in business events where appropriate and be flexible as to location and hours where customer events dictate.
Have experience in Performance Management, Appraisals and other HR related fields and relative experience with Rotas etc.
Have a proven track record (3-5 years at least) in Reservations/Revenue Management within Hotel and Hospitality Sector
Possess strong Leader & People Management Skills (must have managed a team of 6 within the sector)
Have strong IT skills and experience using booking engine and channel management systems and online agencys etc.
Be well spoken with excellent written and oral English
Be able to work under pressure and during periods of change
Price / Salary: £38000 - £44000/annum
