My client is looking for a Freelance Quailty Manager to join the team. The project is large scale and will need someone with as civils/ general construction background.

As the Quality Manager your duties will be to:

* Manage the quality of the sub-contractors work in line with the agreed contract
* Promote good customer relationships
* Ensure resources and product are available in a managed and timely fashion
* Provide information on customer activity that supports future and current company development
* Provide adequate sub-contractor cover for each area of control
* Support sub-contractor training needs
* Set contractor performance measures - attendance, quality of work, punctuality, operating standards, accuracy, customer care, commitment levels, positive attitude, health & safety compliance and duty of care
* Complete relevant reports as required
* Liaise with all involved parties
* Interview and recruit potential sub-contractors

This Quality Manager Job will suit:

* Experienced Quality Manager with a customer focused approach..
* Certified and experienced to working to Quality Auditing Systems ISO9001 and ISO14001.
* Knowledge of improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Root Cause Analysis.

To be a successful Quality Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

* Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to interact with customers, sub-contractors and internal staff in a professional manner
* Health and safety knowledge
* Problem solving skills
* Commercial awareness

Price / Salary: £400 - £500/day
