HIGHWAY MANAGER - NEGOTIABLE- Min 12 Month Contract

Location : Kent & The South East Lots of travel required - Car/SEW Vehicle provided

Working pattern: 8.30-5.00pm Mon-Thurs & 8.30-4.30pm Friday

Whats is the Job Purpose?

I am seeking a hard-working individual, you will be reliable and conscientious to take on this challenging and dynamic role leading the highways team.

You will be responsible for ensuring great relationships with the 11 highways authorities, a solid support network in other utilities and to ensure compliance of South East Water staff and suppliers with relevant highways legislation and practice.

The role requires experience in working within and managing budgets and programmes.

The candidate must be willing to travel to meet with relevant highways authorities and contractors across South East Waters operational area.

Do you have the Skills Required?

- Extensive knowledge of the New Roads & Amp; Streetworks Acts, Traffic Management Acts and associated codes of practice is essential.

- The Ideal candidate will also have established relationships with the Highway Authorities in the SEW operational area

- Have some experience in dealing with road construction/repair contractors

- Must be degree level or equivalent

- Competent to create and maintain Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentations

- Clean driving licence
