A very established manufacturing and distribution company require an IT Analyst.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced, IT Analyst to work alongside our IT Manager. You will become the "go-to" person for all our IT help desk needs, demonstrating good problem solving skills and a patient and methodical approach to delivery. You will have at least 2 year's experience in providing Level 2 support with some experience of Level 3 support. You will be up-to-date with the very latest in IT developments and be able to apply relevant innovations in order to ensure our business stays fully operational. Any experience in the Printing or Reprographic industry would be beneficial. You will have a helpful, open and positive rapport with users and will work with and train them to best utilise our systems.

* VMware virtualised environment with replication to our Disaster Recovery
site

* 70 HP Desktop / Laptop computers

Job Specifics

* Day to day support of some 50 users using standard HP hardware, Windows
7/10 and Microsoft Office . All client installations are standardised.

* Weekly & Monthly system checks and verification
* Hardware / software patching
* Installation of new client hardware and software
* Virus & Spam monitoring
* System resource monitoring
* Hardware & software inventory control
* Disaster Recovery procedural testing
* Induction training of new staff and ongoing training on internal systems.
* Supporting the IT Manager in the investigation / roll out of IT projects
