Our Client, based in Derby, requires a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their large and reputable Main Car Dealership Automotive Workshop.

The successful candidate will join a large operation, but one with a great working atmosphere and one of the best staff retention rates in the area.

This is an important role in their Automotive Service Department. As a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will excel in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing as well as having a thorough understanding of vehicle diagnostics.

With your positive and 'can-do' attitude, you will thrive on set targets and will produce high quality work within this busy Automotive Service environment. You will liaise with other team members assisting with the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, resulting in consistently exceeding customer expectations and earning good levels of bonus on their achievable bonus structure.

The successful applicant must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics and if you hold a VOSA MOT Smartcard this would be an advantage. If you are not currently a Vehicle MOT Tester they will pay for the required training and subsequent qualification for you.

Our client's vehicle technicians also benefit from regular manufacturer training to ensure you are kept up to date with the latest models and techniques.

The basic salary will be circa £23K depending on experience, and there is only one in four Saturdays to work which are paid at time and a half, giving you an attractive overall package of circa £30,000 including realistic bonus achievement.
