Are you a qualified Accountant with experience in liaising with non-finance stakeholders and Operations Managers? I am recruiting for an experienced finance professional for a highly successful fresh produce organisation based on the outskirts of Peterborough. This business works closely within the supermarket supply chain in a fast paced, process driven environment and are looking for an Operations Accountant to join their successful team.

The Role

You'll be a Business Partner to Operations Managers, communicating key financial information which will highlight areas for improvement and opportunities for change, ensuring non-finance stakeholders understand the financial performance of their team. You'll provide weekly financial analysis and commentary for stakeholders, as well as controlling and monitoring overhead spend on a monthly basis. You'll also support the Finance Manager in highlighting CAPEX opportunities and produce monthly financial forecasting and operational costs, feeding this information to the relevant teams.

About you

You'll have an excellent ability in interpreting financial information and communicating this to non-finance stakeholders. In addition to this, you will be IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel. Having experience in fresh produce or manufacturing would be highly beneficial for this role.
