A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Services Management team of a market leading, nationwide £1.2 billion turnover distribution group. Our client is looking to hire a personable and hardworking Facilities Maintenance Officer at their Head Office near Wilmslow.
The role
In this unique and varied role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the building and maintaining health and safety alongside other duties including, but not limited to, the following:
* Assisting the Services Manager
* Dealing with any electrical issues
* Liaising with IT team or contractors to arrange repairs as necessary
* Organising risk assessments
* Visiting other local sites
* Providing security cover as appropriate

Requirements
Our client is looking for somebody who is great with people and who possesses a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience working with electrics, DIY and general handyman tasks (either at work or at home). Previous experience in a similar role within maintenance or facilities management will also be beneficial, but is not essential.
