The company are a leading freight forwarder in the industry and are looking to develop their Warehouse team by bringing in a successful Warehouse Manager.

Aviation Security - Awareness

Forklift (relevant weight)

Dangerous Goods Awareness

Package:

Salary: Negotiable

Holiday: 20 days + 8BH

Responsibilities

* Co-ordinate with Operations for deadlines applicable to current work, and to ensure good flow of communications
* Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean, tidy and safe
* All incoming freight to be weighed, measured, and logged in Insight
* Ensure on call/out of hours' cover is in place to service client's requirements
* Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to within the warehouse and yard, and that health and safety awareness is revisited on a regular basis
* Ensure holiday/overtime/sickness/return to work records are kept updated
* Ensure there are weekly toolbox talks within the warehouse team
* Assess current operation and make recommendations for the improvement required to the Warehouse operation at Orpington.
* Ensure all transport and warehouse staff adhere to aviation security awareness rules and regulations
* Ensure there is a sufficient staffing level to manage the work flow in the Warehouse and Transport departments
* Continuous communication with all Warehouse and Transport staff, including Warehouse Supervisors.
