An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanically bias Maintenance Engineer to join a hugely successful Nationwide Business on a permanent basis. Working 6:00am - 6:00pm on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern you will be responsible for the preventative and reactive site maintenance and repairs with an ongoing effort to eliminate faults and variation to ensure a smooth operation of the manufacturing process.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be required to have excellent Mechanical knowledge with some level of electrical aptitude. In addition to this you will also posses strong analytical skills and have some basic knowledge of using a PC.

Responsibilities include:

To work proactively at all times in meeting the needs of the business.

To maintain an accurate record of activities using MP2 - ensuring a data completeness of 100% is achieved as the norm.

To educate production operators where possible - reducing the risk of failure due to operating errors.

To keep equipment, machinery, services and welfare facilities in the best possible condition.

To work in a responsible manner with regards to the health, safety and welfare of yourself, others and the workplace around you
