Our client school received both these items of praise in their last Ofsted report, which took them from 'Requires Improvement' to 'Outstanding', something which the school are obviously keen to continue, through the careful selection of teachers to take up positions within the school.

The school are looking for qualified and experienced teachers of Art & Technology, to start in January, on a full time basis up to the end of the academic year. The position will be covering the Head of Art & Technology, so will involve teaching and also the responsibility that comes along with Head of Department status. The school with be looking for either those with previous Head of Department experience, or someone who displays the obvious ability to step up into this position.

The school is a relatively average sized secondary academy in the Chelmsford area. It has a small sixth form, and strong links with the local community. It benefits from a new building, built within the last 5 years, so facilities are modern and complete. The curriculum is broad and allows students to make informed choices, while at the same time receiving effective advice about careers and higher education options.
