Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor - £27,000 to £32,000

A well established, family owned manufacturing company based in Tiptree who manufacture furniture components are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to join their fast paced business. The company have plans to invest in their facilities and infrastructure to the site very soon, meaning this is a good, challenging role!

Duties
Drive and implement a health, safety and environmentally aware culture amongst all employees,
Act as the competent person for health and safety matters relating to manufacturing, cleaning grounds maintenance, across the organisation, as required by the management of health & safety at work regulations 1999,
Assist with any onsite audits from Peninsula business serviced ltd,

Skills/Experience
Experienced working in a similar role (Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor) within a manufacturing environment,
Have the NEBOSH certificate,
If you have IOSH or MIOSH certificates that would be beneficial but not essential,
Have a hands on approach to your role,
Be a very strong communicator,
Be strong and assertive person who is good at building and maintaining long-lasting professional relationships whilst ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are never in jeopardy.
