We are looking to appoint an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately working alongside the teaching staff to support a 4 year old boy with Autism. The school is an Ofsted graded 'GOOD' school located in Manchester (M20).

* Very supportive SENCO and Head teacher
* Salary: £55-£70/day
* Ofsted Graded: 'GOOD' schools
* Start date: ASAP
* Non-aggressive, functional and below age-related expectations

The ideal SEN Teaching assistant will have experience working on a 1 to 1 basis with a child with ASC in a main stream primary setting. The boy is working below age related expectations and has severe communication difficulties and needs support to access the curriculum.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with SEN children in an EYFS setting
* Confident working on a 1 to 1 basis outside the classroom to enable the child to better access the curriculum and integrate into the class better
* PECS experience (not essential)
* Has worked in an EYFS setting previously
