The Company has nearly 50 years experience in the Water Storage market in the UK market. The company also offers full end to end project management service, supporting the design, manufacture and installation of solutions for the water storage industry.

As part of our Technical team you will be expected to work efficiently in a fast paced environment carrying out all customer drawings, therefore 3D CAD experience is essential. The successful Technical & Drawings Co-ordinator will need to be pro-active, fast-paced and be able to handle multiple priorities at the same time. You will need to be technically minded and have an interest in adopting lean techniques both within the production facility and other areas of the business. This role reports directly in to our Technical and Product Development Manager.

Duties and responsibilities of the Technical & Drawings Co-ordinator

The Technical & Drawings Co-ordinator will be responsible for the following:

- Prioritise daily workload of the drawings department, ensuring customer expectations are met;

- Updating 3D CAD drawings and technical specifications of our product range;

- Reviewing our product range;

- Generating drawings of sectional and one-piece storage tanks, complete with connection details to satisfy customer requirements and comply with relevant water industry standards;

- Liaising with customers in order to establish their requirements and provide technical support and solutions;

- Provide technical support to sales staff and customers for both our standard range and bespoke products;

- Support management with the role out of Lean projects, acting as a lean champion for the business;

- Strong literacy skills to assist with the development of technical processes (CPDs);

- Supporting management with technical training for all employees;

- Any other duties and project work as assigned by management, in order to meet the needs of the business.

Skills, knowledge and experience required by the Technical & Drawings Co-ordinator

- Experience within a technical role;

- Fully proficient in 3D CAD (Inventor preferable) and Microsoft packages;

- Ability to work to own initiative, offering suggestions on how to improve current processes & procedures;

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

- Commercial awareness.
