We have a unique opportunity for an Electrician based in Aldershot on a full time, permanent basis working 39 hours per week. There will also be a requirement to participate on the emergency on-call rota.

Role purpose:

The purpose of the Electrician is to carry out repairs and installation works to domestic and commercial properties within VIVIDs housing stock, conforming with all current IEE Electrical Regulations whilst maintaining high Health & Safety standards.

Your key responsibilities:

Fault finding on circuits and appliances
Cyclical P.A.T testing
Testing of work, providing minor works of installation certification
Assisting the building contracts team when required on programmed works
Using hand held PDA device to access emails and update job status/completion of works accurately within a timely manner
What we need from you:

Essential skills/experience:

City and guilds 2330 NVQ level 3 or equivalent
17th edition amendment 3 wiring regulations
City and Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Test and inspect is desired
Demonstrate good all round electrical skills, including testing, fault finding, repairs and installation works
Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Basic IT skills for using hand held device
Full current driving licence offers subject to satisfactory online licence check
Physically able to work on site, climb ladders/stairs and manual handling
