Automotive Quality Auditor (Warehouse) - £13.66 per hour + £100 per week shift allowance for afternoons - rotating shifts - 3 Month Rolling Contract



Reporting to the Quality Engineer, the Quality Auditor is responsible for the inspection and control of suspect stock in order to support production and minimise disruption. As Quality Auditor you will support the Quality Department containment activity following any problem with the quality of a supplied part. Manage quarantined stock, using Oracle (the company's inventory management system). Book re-work and trigger inspection using Oracle. You will prepare material non-conformance to communicate defects to suppliers. Accurately record disruption data in order to monitor supplier performance. Visually and physically inspect non-conforming parts using hand held measuring equipment and gauging. Carry out non-destructive testing. Inspect contained defective parts on the shop floor and in the warehouse. Carry out production part approval process.

Ideally you will have manufacturing, engineering and quality experience within the automotive industry, with experience of using dimensional hand tools. Knowledge of engineering drawings and knowledge and understanding of geometrical dimensioning and tolerance. You will also possess good communication skills, both written and verbal and have a positive attitude and be flexible to adapt to a busy and varied role.
