My client a national 3PL organisation is looking to fill a number of General Manager positions.

This is a great opportunity for General Managers of various levels to join a fantastic organisation.

General Managers with experience using JDA or Red Prairie Warehouse Management Systems will be advantageous.

Duties:

* Communication with Transport function, ensuring smooth delivery to customers

* Ensure all Health and Safety obligations are met providing a legal and safe working environment for all employees that consistently exceed quality standards required.

* Control shift costs in line with budgets and propose initiatives that will support cost reductions.

* Ensure all union facing issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

* Manage grievances, return to works and disciplinaries.

* Inbound plans, labour planning and making effective use of business resources
