A catering equipment specialist based in Acton, West London is looking for a Trainee CAD Designer. Supporting the CAD Manager and working with another CAD Operator, you will be estimating and order processing as well as liaising with customers, architects and designers. You MUST have knowledge of AutoCad and ideally Revit experience.

Core Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the sales team to produce high quality kitchen, bar and restaurant design drawings
* Follow up with accurate technical services drawings once an order is secured
* Liaise with customers, architects, designers, Mechanical & Engineering companies as well as all other departments
* Occasional site visits to take site dimensions will be required
* Gain experience with product training courses as arranged by the company

You will be:

* Estimating
* Order processing
* Project management and admin to provide an effective design and technical service

Core Key Skills:

* Good knowledge of AutoCad and ideally Revit skills
* Experience in kitchen and restaurant design is highly desirable
* Good design skills and design flair is essential
* Good standard of technical awareness
* Good knowledge of latest Windows operating systems
* Good communication skills
* Ability to produce 2D and 3D design plans from rough working drawings
* Ability to produce 3D Max visualisations
* Ability to produce fully detailed M&E service drawings (following training)
* Knowledge of general architecture building layouts

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING SOFTWARE IS ESSENTIAL:

* AutoCad and Revit 2017
* Microsoft Office

* Internet proficient for uploading and downloading drawings and documents
