This role requires an energetic, enthusiastic, self motivated and proactive individual, someone who's keen to find ways to improve the functionality of the department and eager to make a positive impact! You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and be an invaluable member of this small team. You will need to be totally reliable, be able to work autonomously but have a flexible attitude as priorities change and, of course, have strong administrative skills. This opportunity lends itself to a confident, assertive person and who can communicate well at all levels.

Job Role:

With daily customer contact for breakdown management and control of a team of field based service engineers, the service controller plays an important part in providing a first class level of on-site service and will have a pivotal role in the continual improvement of our customer service delivery.

Successful applicants will be familiar with customer call handling and logging, organising and planning engineer despatch supported by effective and clear communication. The successful applicant will be expected to establish and maintain excellent customer contact and call handling standards, and support and communicate with their engineering team, thus ensuring customers, both internal and external, receive an outstanding level of service.

Skills and Experience:

* Be an excellent communicator with first class customer handling skills
* Experience of working within a fast paced customer service environment
* Have a confident and pleasant telephone manner
* Possess strong decision making and prioritisation skills
* Be committed and self driven
* Be a team player, with a flexible approach to their workload
* Have well developed IT skills particularly Excel. Knowledge of SAP would be
advantageous
* Able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines and targets.
* Have exceptional organisational skills

Associated Benefits:

* Up to 26.5k pa
* 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am -5.00pm Mon to Thurs
8.00am-4.00pm Fridays
